SMS Concast is driven by the passion for electric steelmaking process, whether scrap- or iron-ore-based. We focus exclusively on processes and technologies to our customer's benefit.
Since 1954 SMS Concast has been supplying more continuous casting installations than anyone else in the industry. Today SMS group-wide practices, evolved over decades in each organization, have been distilled into highly optimized design and technology to the benefit of our customers.
The steelmaking process and the goals of the customer are SMS Concast’s objective. Due to a set focus on the technological equipment and processes, SMS Concast can serve its customers best for the production of long products like rod and bars, light and medium sections, rails or seamless tubes.
